Just a little caution about simply adopting a recommended pad arrangement
for a component. I have been burned by using a recommended pad size and
location without first laying a part on a 1:1 plot of those pads. You may
want to use their recommended pads as a starting point, but I would strongly
recommend you confirm those pads against an actual part before you "call it
good". You may want to massage those pads based on your process and
experiences. A 1206 component is very common, but remember- not all 1206's
are the same. Just my $.02 Lenny Carter, ERG, Inc. www.ergpower.com
