Had a brief chat on this a few months back in an aerospace customer,, when
they asked if we were TS16949 compliant. (Yes)
So far as I understand it TS16949 - or at least its ideas and procedures -
are being introduced in some aerospace facilities and there is discussion
in the aerospace world to have a formal aerospace version. The way the auto
guys worked together to make this standard impressed them and the portions
on continuous improvement and FMEA seem to be especially attractive to those
people I was talking to.

MIL-Spec (This is global certification...DESC travels internationally

certifies suppliers)..,
AS9100 (another global acceptable std for aerospace),
IPC certifications (international std)
So Can the community help...what is the value of NADCAP and who is
driving
this ???
