This video seen on MSN of a "rock" that "sprouts tentacles" reminds us
of the tin whiskers we have seen at a much smaller scale...
It is very interesting... I wonder if the process of forming these
"tentacles" are in some way similar?
Does heat/cold in an oxygen environment affect the growth of tin
whiskers?
