Not surprised about the Super Cold temp.
 
We made some flex cables for Fermi Labs (our USA Particle  Collider)....The 
cables had to perform @ Liquid Helium.....274 Kelvin (which is  3 degrees 
higher than ABSOLUTE ZERO).
 
The reason these cables were interesting because 1 end was in Liquid  
Helium...other was in Ambient temp.
