Plan now to attend this valuable conference on the new standard for the power conversion industry. For the first time ever, the power conversion industry now has a standard - IPC-9592, Requirements for Power Conversion Devices for the Computer and Telecommunications Industries.

Conference Topics

Sessions will be presented by the volunteer standards development committee members who contributed to the document's individual sections. Companies participating in the program include IBM, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, Lineage Power and Murata Power Solutions.

Conference topics/chapters cover a complete range of power conversion product attributes including: Product Specifications and Document Requirements; Design for Reliability; Design and Qualification Testing and Manufacturing Conformance Testing.

Committee members will describe not only the items, requirements and issues confronted and resolved in the development of the standard, but also the background and logic used to craft each chapter.

Why You Should Attend

This is the industry's first standard for power conversion. Due to the support of the major companies who have developed the standard, the industry should anticipate widespread usage. As a result, power conversion manufacturers, both from management and engineering, should attend this conference to learn about customer requirements.
