Thank you so much for this information. When faced with a multitude of
AOI and solder paste inspection machines out there, many engineers are
simply overwhelmed as to which ones are good, and which are not so good.
Getting feedback from our peers is invaluable in at least narrowing the
field as to which ones to begin looking at.

Here at Indium Corporation in Clinton, NY we use a Koh Young 3020T in
our simulation lab and have been very pleased with its performance. We
periodically run gage studies on it and the deviation is 5% or less for
most pad sizes, so the consistency is excellent. It has been extremely
useful for evaluating solder pastes, as well as stencil printer
optimization.
Customer service has been good too.
