I've done 4 awg with resistance. Very nice results. I do think crimp is
better at that size.

Subject: [TN] Wire Harness question - soldering 0 AWG wire?
Hello TechNet
I've been dragged (kicking and screaming) out of my comfort zone, and am
looking at a wire harness. I've got some 0 awg wire to solder into a
connector. We haven't tried it, but I really doubt that my Metcal MX-500
system is up to this task. Do any of you have experience with this, and if
so can you recommend equipment or technique?
regards,
Graham Collins
