Hi Graham,

Have you looked at JBC? They have some high wattage irons that have
jaw-dropping performance and recovery. By recovery, I mean that the tip
temperature will stay at whatever temperature it's supposed to and not
drop off when a heavy thermal load is encountered. Check out:

Hello TechNet
I've been dragged (kicking and screaming) out of my comfort zone, and am
looking at a wire harness.  I've got some 0 awg wire to solder into a
connector.  We haven't tried it, but I really doubt that my Metcal
MX-500 system is up to this task.  Do any of you have experience with
this, and if so can you recommend equipment or technique?
