Go to the website above.

It is the Government Electronics and Information Technology Association
website. Look for the GEIA STD -0005 series for lead free. The standards
are not free and I am working to get my company to get a membership to
be able to participate like we do for IPC.

I found this organization about two months ago and they have several
standards and handbooks (for PM) for RoHS assemblies for use for the
government. One of the standards is for reliability testing and you will
see that there are references to Mil Stds( I think 810).

http/www.geia.org/
I had three of them purchased for are use in qualifying a RoHS assembly
to be used in our application in the US Army Vehicles.

Subject: [TN] testing RoHS-compliant boards

Hello TechNet:

I work for a medical OEM. We will soon be producing lead-free
RoHS-compliant
PCBAs.

I need to identify appropriate standard test methods for performance and
reliability of the new PCBAs made with RoHS-compliant materials. Is
there a standard shock and vibration test we should perform? What other
tests should we do? Would IPC-9701A be appropriate?

I would appreciate your recommendations and comments.

Thanks in advance for your help.
