Hi Ted,
9701A is appropriate for SJ creep-fatigue reliability; there are other
specifications (finished and/or in draft formats) in the IPC-97XX series you might
be interested in.
You may also be interested in the White Paper: "Recommendations for PCB FAB
Notes and Specifications in Printed Circuit Board Drawings for SnPb and
Lead-Free Soldering Assemblies, the Qualification of PCB Shops and Activities to
Assure Continued Quality" to make sure the PCBs are in fact RoHS-capable.
