Press-fit is probably the easiest, but of course you'll need tooling and
a
press to do it. Or you can use Teka solder-bearing lead PC104 connectors
and
reflow them:

PC104 connectors.
I saw it done by hand at http://www.calquality.com/ years ago but can
they be wave-soldered or IR reflowed? Or is press-fit preferred?
