Thanks Rudy and Graham,

The process doesn't have to be a painting process although this is 
probably the most obvious solution and best suited to mixing at the 
nozzle, as you suggest. Printing is an option that is being seriously 
considered, dipping is less likely to work for reasons that I can't go into.
