Since anodizing is carried out by growing an oxide layer on the surface,
solderability of an anodizes stainless steel will be non-existent. Don't
forget that naturally stainless grows a thin chrome oxide layer which is
in the main what imparts its inherent corrosion resistance, so to solder
to it you need an extremely acid flux. The only stainless "anodizing"
treatment I know of is the Prismatic process (if aged brain remembers
correctly) and it is used to decoratively colour the surface by
thickening the oxide layer, different thickness gives different colour.
End result is not solderable unless you abrade the layer off and use a
highly acid flux

Is a Stainless Steel anodized surface solderable?
