We are a contract manufacturer and most of our customers prefer that this is
not coated.
If it is a socketed chip, most will remove this item at some time in its
life for a software update, test chips, etc...

We have had customers in the past who have asked us to coat and we have had
some big problems at test. In this scenario, it was humiseal 1C51, wich is
a silicone based coating.
Once the coating covered the contacts, their was no more electrical
connection.

Another of our customers uses a Base Chemistry of Modified Acrylic Resin
that was UV curable. It was a nightmare when we had fall out. We ended up
talking them into removing the socket.

Hope that helps and
all the best.
