Scott,
I have two of these Dinolite scopes with the stand. I do not use them 
much because of the picture quality. They do not seem to handle the 
light reflecting over solder joints very well. I have attached two 
pictures.

I do have an old Sony Camera that I use instead. It is on a boom so I 
can get good angle views of fillets etc. The reolution is not great and 
I can manually adjust the light according to the finish and angle.

I Like the BGA100 hand held cameras that has a prism at the end even 
better. You can look at a 90 degree angle under BGAs or also straight. I 
have not bought one yet, I have only tried it. These run about $3K.

Does any of you have any experience with the keyence tools? They are 
very expensive, but are they worth it?
