You do not tell us anything about the component—dimensions, thermal mass,
CTE, on FR-4, power dissipation, operating environment, etc.
All of these have an impact on the manufacturability, the resulting quality,
as well as long-term reliability.
So, you get the 'infamous' consukltants' "IT DEPENDS."
