Well I resisted being poked by Inge on this as he knows my predilection for
old cars.
But if you are going to distinguish between British, English and Scottish -
which many fail to do to the annoyance of Scots - and then cite some Scots
as inventors you should at least pick inventors and not include developers
and populisers.......

May I correct you a little:

"-english invention and concept" should read "British invention.." or even
"Scottish invention...".

Thinks of James Watt, Logie Baird, Alexander Graham Bell, James Lister,
Simpson..... all Scots.
