Hi Linda,

Check with your connector manufacturer. Most connector manufacturer's will
provide technical support on installation. Some sell tools. The most
common method is to press them in while supporting the bottom side of the
PCB. If the connector pins are longer than the PCB thickness, you need to
create a support with clearance for the pin protrusions. The top side tool
may simply be a flat rock, but is more commonly a tool with machined
features to clear mating pins and ensure pressure is apply to the proper
points, such as the connector body or inserts. The presses are also
sometimes available from the manufacturers. They can either be strictly
mechanical (like an arbor press), or with pneumatic or hydraulic assist.
What is right for your application depends on the seating force and your
volume.

Hope that helps you.

Can any one share information or point me in the right direction for finding
a procedure or equipment for removing Press Fit Connectors?

Thanks in advance for your support.
