I could really use some help.
We are a CM looking to get rid of our "paper" manufacturing instructions and
convert to a wireless system on the shop floor.
We are beginning to do research in the software available to help us make this
transition.
We are currently using Unicam 6.2 (OLD) and need an upgrade bad.
So far I have seen awesome things about Aegis and have heard almost zero
complaints. The only one that seems to be reoccurring is the price tag.
Some of the features that we are looking for is the ability to convert cad to
machine data (smt, aoi, ATI, etc) , generation of visual aids/instructions thru
the use of templates, line balancing, and as complete integration with our erp
as possible.
Has anyone used anything else besides Aegis????
I have seen very little on other software such as Valor, Sony Timms, etc and
would like to know of any success/drawbacks with the others.
If Aegis is the way to go, I need to justify the pricetag that comes with it.
If any one has any comments, suggestions, drawbacks, contacts, it would
really help me out.
Thanks in advance
