Most elements and their compounds are hazardous to humans when
concentrations are extremly higher than the natural levels. Lead has
been focused on all since the myth of roman empire declination because
of Lead poisoning. Tin may be guilty to many diseases too. Seems as Tin
has been regarded innocent and hence has escaped from same scrutinized
research as Lead. 

Typical 'acquittal' of Tin: ..." There is no information of releases of
Tin compounds from manufacturing and processing facilities because these
releases are not required to be reported---"

ITRI report: ...."Electronics solder accounts for 35% percent of the
global Tin consumption. That percentage will increase dramatically
because of EU directives....."
