If you are talking about compliant pins, most can be pressed out. Is it a
header or an integrated housing? The difficult thing is the ability to
support the PCB while you press the pins out. A slow press rate is
recommended (12mm/min).

Consulting the supplier is still a good idea since some pins are so
aggressive, they will damage the PCB when removed. Also, the length of time
the connector has been in the board can be an issue due to "cold welding".

If you have displacement pins, I agree with others that repair should not be
attempted.
