Hi all,
I guess you have all heard that Cadence is offering to buy Mentor for
$16/share, about a 30% bump over current stock value and closely to the
past year's peak price (pcdandf.com/cms/content/view/4828/95/).
This would be a big deal in the IC design space, but it could really have a huge
impact on PCB design.
What's your take on this? Would a Cadence-Mentor merger be good or bad for
PCB designers?
Thanks for the feedback.
Kathy
