Pitch? The finer the pitch the more fragile the connections. Are you going
to use a pizza cutter or try to break them by hand?

Subject: [TN] Edge clearance for a BGA

Dear Technetters,
What is the rule of thumb for the minimum distance of a BGA from the edge of
the board that is scored?. This is a 062 thick board and the BGA is
1"square, LF solder. I am trying to prevent stressing and possibly cracking
the BGA joints during de-paneling.

Thanks,
Amol
