Twinkle twinkle little star
NASA wonders what you are
Up above the clouds so high
It's just a sh@@@@ pump passing by

They sent out for the rooter man
He couldn't get there in his van
What a come down for NASA - what a bummer
They're using a rocket scientist for a plumber

CBS radio news this morning said it's a failed "pump" and that the
replacement part is on its way from Russia to be carried on this
Saturday's
shuttle launch. They said it's coming in a diplomatic pouch. I'll leave
it
to the punsters on this forum to expand on the irony of state
department
diplomats carrying toilet parts...

I believe you hit the nail on the head, the British it is. I thought
somewhere I heard that the toilet was made by Lights Out Lucas, perhaps
with
some of the leftover electronics from my 1960 Sunbeam Alpine ;-)

I'm betting they just forgot to bring along a $12,000.00 plunger is
all,
or,
the British provided the toilet system and made it coin operated, and
they
ran out of change...
