It is, as others say, a VOC, combustible (in reality, fire hazard,
quasi-null), used frequently in cosmetics, has surfactant qualities etc.
Its vapour will have a small GWP (possibly <10) but it is not a
controlled substance. It is biodegradable but its BOD5 and COD are quite
high: your sewage treatment plant may need to know if you plan to send
considerable quantities their way.
