Does anyone have or know of, any good comparative charts, documents, white
papers dealing with the ENIG (gold) PCB finish when compared to Immersion
White Tin (IWT)? We have a customer that has been using IWT as the surface
of choice for many years, but we almost have them convinced to move to ENIG
- for lots of anecdotal reasons. I am simply trying to round up some
corroborating evidence/documentation that makes the point in B&W. It would
also be nice to have something they can use to convince their end-users that
the ENIG finish is preferable to IWT in lots of ways. I am trying to hit all
aspects of the comparison, i.e. raw PCB shelf life, long term reliability,
manufacturing issues, etc.

Any and all help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
