Wouldn't that be dictated by the calibration of your SG test equipment?
As an amateur vintner my gauge for SG of wine is calibrated for 68
Degrees F. There is an adjustment factor for each degree of variation
above calibration temperature, and a separate factor for each degree
below calibration temp. Since SG is a relative measure to water a STP
it would make sense (to me at least) to normalize all measurements to
that.

Subject: [TN] Specific Gravity for ROSE Tester

Good Day All,

We are having a discussion about the specific gravity of the 75%/25%
solution in our ROSE tester. The question revolves around testing it hot
or
cold.

Our ROSE tester runs at 112 degrees F and would like to know whether we
should test the SG at hot or cold. If so what would we expect for a
reading?

Thanks all,

KennyB
