Try your supplier of microsection equipment, they typically have technical
support staff that can come to your site and show you proper methods using
your product, on your equipment. It is probably the best "free" training you
can have. They may not be able to provide you all the experience in
determining acceptance criteria but that can indeed show you how to make
excellent mounts.

Another source depending upon your relations with them, are other
fabricators in your area. I have no problem bringing our competitors into
our facility and providing them guideance...makes for good business
especially when I have a need they can provide.

Subject: [TN] PCB cross section training

TechNetters, may I have some advice or recommendations on training in doing
printed circuit cross-sections, in the eastern US? It looks like IPC
7711/7721 training is not hard to find, but is anyone doing PCB
cross-section training alone? Thanks for any guidance. Louis
