Hi Amol,

We've found Microsoft Access to be a very good program for this. We keep all
of our equipment maintenance information in Access and it sends out emails
when a particular piece of equipment is due maintenance or calibration.

If you have someone in your organization that is familiar with Access it
should be pretty easy for them to write a little program.

Subject: [TN] PM Software

Hello Technetters,
Hope everyone is doing fine. I wanted to find out what software is being
used out there for keeping track of Equipment PMs. We use an antiquated
piece of software that was created when the earth's crust was still molten
(well....feels like it anyway) and is long overdue for a change. I could go
with an updated version of the same software but wanted to find out what
else is available and how user friendly it is.

I am not looking for anything fancy. Something that will let me schedule
PMs, enumerate what has to be done, and maybe automatically alert our
Maintenance team (or print out the form automatically) when the PM is due.

Thank you in advance for your inputs.

Regards,
Amol
