To persons interested in solvent soluble 'black light' visible dyes- try the
Uvitex OB (optical brightener) type materials. The water soluble versions
are the ones that 'make white shirts whiter than white' - especially in the
black lights of discos, etc.
We used a solvent soluble version in certain soldering aids (e.g. temporary
solder masks) which were dissolved in the CFC-113 based cleaning agents at the
same time as the flux residues in one easy step.
Variants of that version may well work in the VPS fluids you wish to track.
