Scott,

In the UK, Producers report the qty and weight by WEEE Category of NEW

product placed on the market per quarter and all Producers are obliged

to use a recognised (registered) compliance scheme (or set up their

own).

The compliance schemes administer the reporting of new product placed on

the market and product collected for recycling on behalf of their

customers to the UK WEEE enforcement agency:

http://www.vca.gov.uk/enforcement/weee-enforcement.asp

If you look at the website it currently says the records are awaiting

publication after the format is agreed.

Chris

Subject: [LF] WEEE - Recycle material reporting part

At the beginning of WEEE implementation, the products under the scope

have

been marked with crossed wheelie bin logo. There was no other action

according to the directive. Nowadays, the collection system in European

countries have been or almost set up. The producers must report the

recycling method and recycle material used on the products. Is there

any

information (contact details, operation commencement date, etc.)

available

on those collection system in each European countries? In addition, is

there any industrial standard format for reporting such information?

Your

guidance is appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Scott
