I would not put anything other than 'silver saver' paper in direct contact
with silver plated product. That being said, On the opposite side of said
paper I add desiccant packs to ensure the proper environment (until the
customer opens the bags and stores the bare boards in an open bin in a non
controlled warehouse.
What your associate might have meant was not to have the pack in direct
contact with the silver finish...just my opinion.

desiccants should NOT be packaged with immersion silver boards,
(and seems to be putting a huge significance on that discovery)
My response would be:
OK. take out the desiccants and put in humidity indicators.

Is there something else I should know about this?
