Dan,
First stop would be to contact the manufacturer of the no-clean flux /
solders you use and find out what they recommend. Might not be your final
solution (pun intended), but at least they have some insight into the
composition of the materials and, based on that, can offer up what they
think is the best material to do what you need. They might even have some
suggested methods/materials on their website. I have seen some sites that do
say "If you have to, use..." Usually it's a product that they make (duh!),
but that doesn't mean you have to use it.

Generally speaking I have not seen good results in trying to clean off
no-clean flux. They call it "no-clean" for a reason.

Good luck,

Subject: [TN] Cleaning No-clean

Folks,

I have a need to clean No-clean residue from PCBA's. Can this be achieved
with water washer and some type of saponifier ? Can anybody suggest a batch
process?

Thanks,

Dan
