No I have the 955 Daytona but for special projects I use the 2300 cc Triumph
Rocket 3 - now I defy anything to catch that up to 100mph.....8-)

Inge, I know a guy that knows............................ but if I ask

black suits, earpieces, bulgy tailor made jackets and driving bullet
proof SUV's wanted to haul me away for a while.

I will see him at Church on Wednesday nite so I will just ask him and

that's the odd here: the reflectors are homogenous Silver, not silver
on aluminum, which is more common.

Ingemar,

Start with a very smooth surface before silver deposition :-)

If the base surface is smooth and well polished, won't the vacuum
deposited silver also be conformal to that surface and highly polished?

I have no clue how they make these things ....

Subject: [TN] Laser cavity reflector question

I challenge TN once again. Could post this question to some laser
specialized company, but then I would automatically get a fishing bate
in my face, if you understand what I mean. So, I prefer to ask the
multi-talented TNetters:
what is the best way to polish silver reflectors to 99% without leaving
microscopical contaminations in the silver surface?
/Inge
