Subject: [KECE] Korea Moves Fast for the Implementation of RoHS/ELV Laws &
Regulations

After the adoption of Act, Enforcement Ordinance and Enforcement Regulation
by the end of 2007, Korea starts issuing further implementing measures in a
speedy manner. By the end of January 2008, the Ministry of the Environment
and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy of Korea have issued 5
implementing measures with legal and mandatory requirement for the
implementation of the Korea RoHS Law. In particular, the Electrical and
Electronic Equipment and Vehicle Eco-Assurance System, which is an
electronic framework for the management of recycling information for EEE and
vehicles, has already been up and running.

Please find a full list of Korea RoHS Laws and implementing measures by 10
February 2008 at http://www.korea-helpdesk.eu (Bottom-Right).

Best regards,

Alice PARK
