Dear Netter...
Any one in the forum can advice tolerance spec for solder paste
thickness with let's say stencil 6 mils or 7 mils ? I would like
to get details also about pratical in other PCBA company. Is it
specify clearly and how many tolerance used ???
Our 6 Sigma team project tasked to reduce our current spec +1.5
to be + 1.0 in order to reduce potential short which could be
happen if we allowed the spec in tolerance +1.5. In the same time
our management was approved to buy new solder paste thickness
checker brand Genitec model GAM70. But really we are in doubt for
the reading capability of this M/C and our project stuck on this
approach right now.
Appreciate and many thank's to any one experience on this topic can
 clear our doubt.
