I have more info (sorry -- this was a cold call; I should have
questioned it when they said "volume").
Releases are planned to be 100, 250, 500 pieces (insert your own joke
about volume here). 14 layer, via over via, and blind via boards. Very
dense but nothing exotic on the assembly side other than the BGA. Future
ones may be 10 layers.

I agree with Jerry...
We do .4mm pitch BGAs...
"Production volume" is pretty wide parameter considering global PCA
assembly output...
Most US production volumes seem to be routed to China as soon as they
pass the qualification stage or are through the 2nd NPI...
