Thanks, Ed. I don't. In one case, it was mainly debris on the road and a
few cm of water. The other one was more serious, with a raging torrent
across the road. I stopped the car to examine that the road was still
there, which it was, and the water was an estimated 25 cm deep. I put
the car into the lowest gear to cross it (about 3 m wide) and managed
without difficulty, keeping to the uphill side of the road, in case of
undercutting.
