Dennis, the study seems to be a mousebite only. What is surprising, and
maybe "positive" for us in the electronics business, is that all reports are
based on laptops. Always laptops. I've had a look at a Year 2005 Japanese
statistics, which may well represent the laptop share in the world. Total
value of produced electronics was worth 140 trillion yen, of which computers
was 21 trillion yen. And laptops is just a fraction of all computer
products. So, they miss the main part of the electronics in these popular
and indoctrinating reports. I suspect, that the effectiveness of hunting
hazardous substances is not so impressive in practice. But we get at least
tons of paper to read, so the paper industry must be very positive...

Interesting in how they cite data.  The US EPA study is in part  "credible"?

What is this 2007 study by Deubzer?
