We have approved and used it as a Pb-free solder paste for ~ 3 years
without issue as an EMS provider for medical, automotive and industrial.
I would consider anything <0.05% as halide free. Note that table 1.1 in
J-Std-004 calls out "0.0%" as being in the "0" flux type category. Lots
of astute people in that original document committee. It could have been
written as "0.0X%" but wasn't.

I have a data sheet that says the flux has a maximum of 0.02 (mass%)
Chlorine.
Would that translate to Halide free? There is not much on this stuff in
English.
