On December 14, Dewey Whittaker writes;
"Although the true answer is in a state of flux, I do agree with what
several have said. I have seen it in the past and called it nodule-ing."
Hi Dewey!
I'm not familiar with "nodule-ing", but I have heard of "noodling" while
here in Oklahoma. In fact one of the engineers that I work with has tried to
get me to go noodling with him when he has gone out. I politely declined...
Things here in Tulsa has slowly but surely improved over the past week, but
our plant is still without electricity, as are 100,000 other people. Close
to 242,000 residences and businesses lost power from the ice storm almost a
week ago. There's electric crews from all over the country trying to get
power back to everyone, but it has been slow going. They have said that the
damage to the power grid is the worst that it has ever been. We have another
winter storm watch coming for tonight and Saturday, wonderful.
I've been blessed with power at my apartment. I consider that sheer luck.
I hope that power is restored soon at our plant, this has really put us
behind at work. More than that, I hope that power is restored soon to
peoples homes so that they can get settled back in and get back to normal in
time for the Christmas holiday which is only 10-days away.
