It's beginning to look like a political firestorm is being ignited
based on selective partial evidence. What is its purpose? In any case, the
controversy is salutary. I'm optimistic enough to believe that scientific
evidence will be reflected in public policy and in corporate investment in
spite of propaganda and political pressures from special interests.
So Philips is getting out of incandescent lamps in favor of LEDs.  And
solar is being transformed from subsidized boondoggle to effective
breakthrough energy technologies.  The Market speaks.
