This one-day workshop provides an overview of the process changes that
need to be implemented in order to produce electronic products in the
next ten years. There are material characteristics in both the printed
board laminate, and in the materials used for assembly, that need new
definition and process control experimentation in order to produce
quality product. The assembling of components in the many possible
configurations are also covered, as are new components appearing on the
scene. They must be able to fit in to the present process without a
disruption. 

Managing Supply Chain Partners

This one-day workshop provides an overview of on the methodology used to
deal with trading partners who participate in the development of an
electronic product. With the ever-increasing technique of outsourcing,
it is necessary to establish an advocate or advocate team in order to
communicate the design requirements and how these must be built into the
product by various participants. It isn't enough of a challenge that the
customer facility is no longer vertically integrated, where they did
everything themselves. The manufacturing is now outsourced to other
lands with other cultures. The topics explored include methods and
management skills needed to communicate between, and among, the various
members of the supply chain involved in building the product.
