Have you tried contacting the vendor or a technical rep?
Once upon a time I had a matrix of time/temp for a given thickness of
1A33. Unfortunately it is long gone.
I do know that for some of our product 1.5 hours at 200F was all we gave
it. We also had a product that we baked for a minimum of 8 hours before
sending on.
The thing about 1a33 is that it is an oxygen cure, so time is one of the
best ways to cure it. If the product does not need full properties right
away you can get away with a partial cure, and leave time do the rest.
As I remember, for about 3 mils of coating a 1 week of cure time was
required.
If the product has a high impedance circuit that is tested right away,
or goes straight to humidity testing, you will need the longer bake out.

Be careful about higher temperatures. You start to risk damage to the
electrolytic capacitors.

Subject: [TN] curing my conformal coating

Hi TechNet
Having a production time crunch, the usual question is being asked of me
- "Do we have to cure the coating for THAT long????"

So - any coating gurus out there (Graham N, are you there?):
 - Humiseal 1A33, per the spec sheet, minimum cure is 20 hours at 190F
(87.8C).
Is it possible to cure at a higher temperature for less time, without
compromising the performance of the material?

Thanks!
 - Graham Collins
