Dear Technetters,

I have some concerns regarding small/medium Assembly shops, several I
visited lately do not have equipment to proceed with Ionic Contamination -
How can it be not justified not to have one?

If production is for IPC Class 3 - would you require the Assembly shop to
have a contaminometer ?

For No-Clean - would you justify not to have a contaminometer?

My understanding is that - any shop doing cleaning (clean / no-Clean) need
to have one in order to know if the process is functional or only visual..

Any Assembly shop doing tropicalization need to be equipped and measure
prior to spray, deep coat, etc..

I also have been surprised with assembly shops that have all their
production employees working without gloves? Is it common practice?

In advance, thank you for your replies
