Betty, as Dale says, ASQ Z1.4 is something to look at. It's been a while,
but some of the IPC documents contained a table taken from a small book
published by ASQ's statistics division entitled something like 'zero
acceptance number sampling plans'. The author is Nick Squeglia. Sorry I
don't remember any identifiying codes, but there shouldn't be any trouble
finding it at the ASQ site.

Another thing you may want to be aware of, if you're not already, is Z1.9,
inspection by attributes.

For what it's worth 105 was cancelled back in 94 or 95, but since the
statistics don't change, references to it linger. My understanding is that
Z1.4 has some clarifications and refinement in the languge, making it
different from 105.

Re: [TN] IPC Sampling plan

Hi Betty,
Try ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2003. It is based on the 105 STD and is the generally
accepted industry standard for sampling procedures. It has multiple tables
for inspection by product attributes and covers normal, tightened and
reduced inspections.

Dear technetters

I could not find in IPC bookstore a document equivalent to MIL STD 105,
describing sampling plans.
Could one of you help me in my search ?
Thanks in advance for your help,

Betty Magnin
