Here you are in coat and tails and your mate is wearing a dust bag. A
long time ago I developed a process to spray coat polyurethane over the
PTHs prior to the installation of the compliant pins. I had total
control over process and design so it is still working today. 
I have some concerns using AR CC, especially if the header is not
sealed. Success will not be the only intermittent thing here.

Good Morning All!
 
We're about to build some assemblies for a customer that wants us to
install press-fit connectors after conformal coating. BTW, it's going to
be an acrylic coating.
 
This is something new for me. Is this pretty common? Is there anything I
should be careful of when doing this?
