I take the risk once more. Liquid-liquid heat exchanger for laser cavity is
made of Ti/Al alloy. Cooling liquid is 50/50 ethylene glycol-water.
Corrosion product is aluminum hydroxide, as far as can see. Lots of, as
another TN member also found, no name. Question: has anyone seen a
confirmation, that glycol-water cause corrosion on Ti/Al alloys?
Simple as that.
