The WEEE Directive specifically excludes equipment connected with EU 
Member state security including arms and munitions. It does not exclude 
ALL "military" equipment per se however - only products which are specifically 
intended for military purposes. 

Now... the RoHS Directive contains no such exemption, however, it has been 
assumed that the scope of RoHS=scope of WEEE unless otherwise indicated. 
So yes, there is no requirement for lead-free in military equipment for the EU.
