Folks: Definitely can use some help!!!!! I was told by a customer today
that his workmanship and soldering standards are definitely high reliability
requirements that mandate ONLY hand soldering. I went into web sites that I
should have been able to find this spec however I found NOTHING!!!! I am
getting the impression that this customer believes high reliability soldering can
only be accomplished by hand soldering. Can anyone out there ditrect me to
this Standard. I have been told it definitely is not a muntions spec. I also
got the feeling through discussion that their reliance on this spec is based
solely on "that's the way we always did it". I have also been told that this
"standard" is not the IPC/J standards!!!!!
I thank all in advance for the help and assistance on this matter.
